Job DescriptionIPG Photonics is the leading developer and manufacturer of high-performance fiber lasers and amplifiers for diverse applications in numerous markets and is currently hiring a CNC Milling Machinist to join our team.
Our Machine Shop has recently relocated into a single facility that houses 50
Mazak, Proto-Trak, Haas, and Hurco machines.
This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join our talented team on the 2nd shift.
Measure dimensions of finished pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Adjust machine feed and speed, change cutting tools, or adjust machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or if machines malfunction.
Use blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product.
General maintenance during CNC machine operation.
