Tasks include managing the entire production flow, work order data entry, and laboratory upkeep.
The candidate must have the ability to follow, maintain, and assist in documenting operational processes and must be capable of learning quickly on a variety of tasks.
Prompt entry of data in databases and log files and ability to report information from same.
Daily communication with the Manufacturing team and Product Development team is required to ensure a smooth transition of new designs to volume production.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
Ability to handle small, sensitive, and high-value components with care.
Experience handling and cleaning Optics.
Experience handling, cleaving, and splicing optical fiber.
Strong written and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to follow transactional procedures.
Ability to focus on the task at hand and maintain accuracy and quality of work.
Driven to improve the efficiency of processes and the adherence to those processes & procedures.
Desire to learn, grow and succeed.
Some travel is required.
Requirements:
Associate's Degree or 3
years related experience.
Organized, energetic, reliable, timely, and detail-oriented.
Team-oriented thinker.
Ability and desire to handle work of diverse scope and complexity.
Works well under pressure.
Current computer skills.
Ability to support the team across a wide range of tasks.
Clean room experience.
Lifting of items up to 50 pounds will be required, walking, standing, lifting, and reaching.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22C.
